A bible laying open to the center by someone standing in a field of purple flowers

My book, Through the Bible, was published by the Wesleyan Publishing House way back in 1995. Thousands of Christians in our Wesleyan churches, on college campuses, on military bases, and in FLAME classes for ministerial students have worked through this year-long study. I’m so honored and humbled to have had a part in discipling people through the Word of God. But I’ve learned a lot since then. And my heart is still stirred to bring to life the most fascinating and transformational book ever written – a book written by God Himself through His faithful servants. I’m just as excited about it today as I was all those years ago.

This year, I started the long task of taking my original book and creating a group of courses to personally disciple those in the church who might not have had the opportunity to study the Bible book by book. I plan to make each course available as I finish it instead of waiting until the entire project is complete. That way, you can help me improve the courses by sharing your input and questions along the way.

The courses won’t be a rehashing of the original textbook, since I don’t own the copyright and so can’t simply reiterate what’s in the book. Each lesson will include video teaching on “Content Overview and Big Ideas,” “Problems, Issues, and Trouble Spots,” “Practical Applications for Today,” and “What’s Next?” as well as opportunities for discussion, a knowledge check, and additional resources for personal study. Courses will be offered for a small fee in the Ruzuku learning platform.

Here is a list of courses that will be available:
